About Billy
A Neighbor, Not a Politician
Billy Burke is a West Manatee resident running for the Fire Rescue District Board of Commissioners, Seat 4 — not because it's a career move, but because he believes this community deserves a board member who actually shows up.
Biography
Who Is Billy Burke?
Billy Burke has called Bradenton home for 30 years. As a Fire Commissioner with the West Manatee Fire Rescue District, he has dedicated his career to protecting the families and neighbours he grew up alongside.
Outside of his work with the district, Billy is deeply rooted in this community and understands firsthand what it means to rely on fire rescue services in a moment of crisis.
Billy is running for Seat 4 because he has seen how decisions made in the boardroom affect the men and women on the front lines — and the residents they serve. He believes it's time for a voice on the board that comes from inside the district, not outside it.
